FULL NAME: Jasper (Hale) Whitlock

PERSONALITY: Because of his Military background, Jasper sometimes comes off as cold and distant to those that do not know him, but in actuality, he is very kind and polite. He is the epitome of a Southern Gentleman and cares greatly for Alice, who he fell in love with almost instantly upon meeting her in a diner in Philadelphia where she had been waiting for him. When they had met, Jasper had been suffering from a century long depression and it was Alice who had helped to pull him out of it. He is much more open with Alice then he is around the other Cullens; partly because he doesn’t feel as connected to them because him and Alice weren’t made by Carlisle like the rest as well as his sometimes lack of control over his thirst for human blood, an effect of his being a younger vampire and more new to the vegetarian lifestyle of the Cullens. Jasper prefers a more private relationship with Alice then the sort that Emmett and Rosalie have, but it is obvious to anyone who sees them together that Jasper is completely in love with Alice and would do anything for her or to protect her.
As an after effect of Jasper’s caring and charismatic nature as a human, as a vampire, he has the ability to feel as well as change the emotions of those around him. However, Jasper does not take advantage of his ability for his own gain and tends to only use it to keep the peace and calm down those who have been angered for one reason or another. Jasper must be careful with his ability though and not manipulate a person’s emotions too much so as not to give them a false sense of reality and because he has been left somewhat emotionally damaged after abusing his ability in the past when he would be able to sense the fear and pain of his victims. This is what led him to become a nomad after becoming tired of the violence and bloodlust he took part in while a part of the Mexican Coven, which was led by his Maker Maria.
ABILITIES: Besides the basic vampire abilities, Jasper is also the best fighter and second strongest of the Cullen family. He also has the ability of Pathokinesis.
WEAKNESSES: Able to be killed by other vampires of their species
